Pedro is the Executive Director of the Third Avenue BID. Pedro is a native Bronxite who most recently served as a Program Director for a national nonprofit, LIFT, that provides economic mobility supports to low-income families. Previously, he was a Senior Partnership and Outreach Specialist at the NYC Department of Sanitation, where he worked on commercial waste zoning and commercial waste reduction. With the NYC Department of Small Business Services, he provided technical assistance to small businesses at the NYC Business Solutions Centers in Upper and Lower Manhattan. Pedro has a Master’s Degree of Public Administration from Baruch College, completed the 9-month Coro Leadership New York program, and acquired an Executive Management certification from Hostos Community College. He is also a proud graduate of Villanova University (B.A.) and Cardinal Hayes High School.

Ben is the Program Manager for Commercial Revitalization with the Third Avenue BID. As a Community Planning Fellow with the Fund for the City of New York, Ben previously worked with Brooklyn's Community Board 3 on a green infrastructure study. Ben received his Master in Public Administration from Baruch College where he focused on Urban Development and Sustainability. At Baruch, his work included projects on equitable access to parks, sustainable freight and surveying commercial cyclists. In addition to his work with the BID, Ben is a lifelong musician and an active member of the NYC arts community.
The activities of the Third Avenue Business Improvement District are governed by a Board of Director, which is composed of property owners, businesses, government officials, and resident and community representatives, Board members are elected to one or two years terms and volunteer their time and expertise to ensure that Third Avenue continues to thrive.
